Rope Access

Rope Access is the application of using specialized rope techniques to safely position workers in hard to reach, at-height locations. It has proven to be a safe, cost-effective alternative to scaffolding and is now considered the industry standard for light to medium duty jobs.

Rope Access is especially suitable for NDE and Inspection jobs due to the inherently small amount of tools and labor required to perform them. It has been proven through many man-hours in the U.S. and abroad that all disciplines of NDE including radiography can be conducted safely by technicians utilizing rope access. Insulation removal and installation along with many other light to medium duty mechanical task can be performed using rope access.

All of our rope access technicians are trained and independently certified to the standards and practices put forth by The Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT®) which is based in the United States. Our Rope Access Program Manager has been involved in rope access since its inception in the U.S. and he maintains Level-3 certifications not only through SPRAT® but also the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA®) which is the sole global trade association in the work-at-height sector.
